Bhojpuri Actress Commits Suicide in Mumbai

Ruby Singh, a 25-year-old Bhojpuri actress., was found to have committed suicide at her apartment in Goregaon west in Mumbai on Friday morning. Ruby's lifeless body was found hanging from the ceiling fan by another person from Bihar living nearby while seeking to get a break in the film industry.Ruby Singh left behind a suicide note in which she said that nobody should be held responsible for her death.Ruby had acted in dozens of Bhojpuri films and is the daughter of a Deputy DSP in Patna. 


Ruby lived in a flat in MMRDA Colony on Ram Mandir Road. On Thursday night, Rohit, an acquaintance from Bihar, went to see her and found her taking several sleeping pills.After surmising that she was not in any kind danger, he called her mother in Patna and told her about Ruby's weak mental status. On Friday afternoon, Rohit again went to Ruby's home to check on her. When no one opened the door for several minutes, he forced the door open only to find Ruby's body hanging from the fan.
